Week 5!

So no run last night since we had Soccer yesterday. But my run on Friday was the beginning of week 5 for me, at the end of week 5 there is a 2mile run with no walking intervals, so I'm kind of nervous but it'll be great to get it behind me.

Finished week 4

Had a break in my running due to playing some soccer on Sunday. Will be starting week 5 with the next run, which looks pretty tough. Some reason week 4 run 2/3 is all messed up because I had to use the lap function on my watch rather than a pre-programmed workout (I forgot to move the workout to the correct day).

Continued Running

Haven't been posting in a while, but I keep my runs up to date over at runnerplus.com if anyone is interested send me an email.  Here are links to my runs I didn't post about.  It's going well, motivation is falling off somewhat, though at the end of next week there's a big run that's somewhat exciting to me.  A 2 mile run without walking intervals, should be a challenge for me.

Week 2 of 9, Run 2 of 3

Tried to push myself a little harder last night, knee ended up hurting a little...guess I should keep it slower until I build up strength in my joints, am an old man now.

Week 2 of 9, Run 1 of 3

New workout routine for this week, longer runs per interval, 90s instead of 60s.  Though also less repetitions, only 6 instead of 8, but a 1 minute overall duration increase.  Things went well, still itching to reach the 5 week mark for the 2.25mi non-interval run.
